Responsibilities Jewelry Production Assist with jewelry production timelines concept through completion, working with manufacturers/vendors on technical specifications Serve as the primary point of contact between our design team and manufacturers/vendors on technical specifications — materials, stone setting, casting, sizing, and finishing Maintain a strong working knowledge of jewelry materials, gemstones, and manufacturing techniques to guide sourcing and production decisions Maintain industry knowledge and develop best practices including researching industry/market trends, materials, gemstones, and new product ideas. E-Commerce Help manage and continuously improve the Jewels Aficionado website (experience with Shopify is a plus) Create and update product listings, descriptions, imagery, pricing, and other website related support Support new product launches and develop clear product descriptions for new collection launches Look for ways to improve the online shopping experience and presentation of the collection. Learn how the e-commerce side of a luxury business operates and contribute ideas for growth. Client Engagement & Partnerships Assist with client inquiries, product research, and sales materials. Contribute to building the visual identity and voice of a growing luxury brand Learn how to communicate the value, craftsmanship, and story behind exceptional luxury pieces to clients, the community and through learning & development materials Manage stylist requests to create clear, accurate memos for loans and pulls Marketing & Business Development Support visual merchandising for shoots, in‑store displays, and events Assist with creating content for social media, the website, email, and other channels. Support product photography, video, copywriting, and other creative projects. Assist the marketing team with campaign coordination and communications Develop a strong understanding of our products and the broader luxury market. Research and understand fine jewelry, diamonds, colored gemstones, vintage jewelry, watches, Hermès, and other collectible luxury categories along with fashion, luxury, and cultural trends This role is intentionally broad. You'll have the opportunity to see how different parts of a luxury business connect—from designing and producing a piece of jewelry to putting it online, telling its story, and ultimately selling it to a client. You will work closely with the Director of Jewels Aficionado and founders to gain exposure to the decisions, challenges, and opportunities that come with building a growing luxury brand. Technical Skills & Qualifications A genuine passion for fine jewelry, diamonds, colored gemstones, and luxury. A strong interest in learning how a jewelry and luxury business operates. A bachelor's degree Work experience in business analysis, marketing, merchandising, luxury retail, e-commerce, jewelry/watches, or other relevant experience is a plus. Strong critical thinking organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Shopify or e-commerce experience is a plus. CAD, jewelry design, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design experience is a significant plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
