Laboratory Technician

Insight Global is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the GPIC Perfumery Lab by compounding fragrance formulations through the accurate weighing and blending of raw materials, preparing solutions and samples for perfumers, and assisting with fragrance testing and application activities. Approximately 75-85% of the role is dedicated to compounding, with a focus on consumer, home care, and fabric care fragrance projects. This individual will work closely with perfumers to ensure formulas, bases, and solutions are prepared accurately and on time while maintaining an organized inventory of raw materials and ensuring ingredients are readily available for ongoing projects and studies. The role also includes supporting fragrance applications, locating and preparing materials, and assisting with day-to-day laboratory operations. This is a highly hands-on position in the lab and requires strong attention to detail, basic laboratory skills, a commitment to safety and documentation standards, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Once trained, this individual will be expected to work independently and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology.
- Exposure to a lab environment (academic or professional).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Team-oriented personality and strong communication skills.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working in fragrance, chemical, consumer products, research, or similar laboratory settings.
