Occupational Therapist (OT) - Inpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide evaluation and treatment to geriatric and adult patients with diverse diagnoses, including but not limited to cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), fractures, and cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility, independence, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment methods and ongoing care post-discharge.
• Document progress and outcomes in the EHR system (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in inpatient or acute rehabilitation preferred.
• Knowledge of common rehabilitation diagnoses including CVA, TBI, fractures, and cardiac conditions.
