Job Summary The Licensed Journeyman Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and mechanical systems in various industrial settings. Key Responsibilities Repair and maintain industrial equipment conveying systems, and major machine centers Read and understand drawings such as blueprints and schematics. Perform preventive maintenance and hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting Practice safe work habits Use of hand and power tools Operation of shop and maintenance related equipment Preform proper alignments of process equipment Work with foreman to complete daily tasks Education Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must hold an active Licensed Journeyman Card Experience 2 years verifiable work experience as Millwright preferred. Knowledge Skills & Abilities Knowledge of rigging and material handling Demonstrated strong communication and documentation skills Must be a self-starter who can work safely under high-pressure situations Must have experience in aggregate or agricultural millwright services. Must be capable of performing skilled labor for up to 12 hours a day. Must be able to work on equipment 50+ feet in the air on occasion. Must be willing to travel for work with some overnight travel necessary. Must be dependable and operate with a high level of integrity. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Welding & fabricating experience is a plus. Work Location and Travel: The main office is located at 1171 Grill Rd. Van Wert, OH 45891 Travel to client and customer sites is required. Days and hours of work may vary at times to include some evenings and weekends. Work Environment Working environment is often in harsh elements (hot/humid and/or cold temperatures, rain, etc.). Industrial environments often have exposure to hazardous chemicals, moving heavy equipment, and other safety-sensitive hazards/risks. Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others. Able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Able to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
