Laboratory Technologist – Medical Technology

Night shift position.

Holiday coverage required.

Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or related area of specialty.

Certification/registration or certification/registry eligible as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician.

Less than 1 year of experience preferred.

Knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, equipment, and techniques of medical technology.

Ability to work independently.

Skill in both verbal and written communication.

Perform laboratory tests and accurately report results to the physician for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of diseases.

Assist in the general operation of the laboratory, including quality assurance programs and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Exercise independent judgment and apply professional education in practice.

Serve as a general supervisor for waived, moderate, and high complexity testing after probation completion.
