Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: 07-07-2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Expected shifts: July=5 shifts; August=16 shifts; approx 10 shifts/month after that
• Schedule: Clinic hours plus with call; shifts are 7am-7am and 5am-5am;
  • partial in-house coverage for 6-8 hours per day, remaining time on beeper call
  • sporadic shifts
• Call: Weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call; 30 minutes response

Clinical Details

• EMR System: Epic
• Practice Settings: Inpatient
• Patients Per Shift: 5-8
• Rounding Patients: newborns
• 1-3 resuscitations per week
• Less than 25% callback rate
• Procedures:
  • Intubation of Newborns
  • UVC
  • Needle Pneumothorax (decompression)
  • x ray interpretation
  • Lumber puncture
  • EKG interpretation
  • Circumcision

Requirements

• Board: Certified
• Licensed in Oregon
• BLS; NRP; STABLE ; DEA
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
