You'll join a high-performing imaging team dedicated to delivering exceptional diagnostic services for patients across the continuum of care — from urgent inpatient needs to routine outpatient exams.Here, your technical expertise and compassionate approach will help ensure every scan is a step toward clarity, comfort, and better outcomes.Position OverviewAs an MRI Technologist, you'll work under the direction of the Imaging Services Director and Medical Director of Radiology, performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging exams. You'll play a key role in maintaining image quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance — all while delivering a positive and reassuring experience for patients of all ages.What You'll DoPerform high-quality MRI scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditionsOperate advanced MRI systems and manage daily workflows in PACS/RISEnsure patient identification, exam accuracy, and documentation meet all safety and compliance standardsProvide compassionate care and clearly explain procedures to patientsMaintain MRI safety protocols, including screening and managing controlled access to magnetic zonesAssist Radiologists with moderate interventional procedures as neededCollaborate with the imaging team to support daily operations and maintain a safe, HIPAA-compliant environmentMust-Have RequirementsCurrent ARRT (MRI) certification or eligibility (MRI registry must be obtained within 18 months if not already certified)Valid ODH Radiologic License (if applicable to modality)Current BLS certification (and must be maintained in role)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency with PACS and Radiology Information Systems (RIS)Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and assist patients during examsAvailability to work some weekends, holidays, and take call as neededNo written disciplinary action within the past 12 monthsPreferred Qualifications3+ years of MRI or cross-sectional imaging experienceStrong working knowledge of MRI safety standards and equipment troubleshootingExperience working across multiple patient populations (neonate to geriatric)Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital imaging platformsBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and holiday payTuition reimbursement & continuing education supportOpportunities for cross-training and career advancementWhere Science Meets SerenityLocated in a close-knit community, this position places you within reach of peaceful neighborhoods, locally owned shops, and the natural beauty of northeast Ohio.
