Job Summary:
The Portland, Oregon-based CT Technologist position involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a short-term acute care facility. The role requires working during daytime hours and includes weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 0800 to 2030. Candidates are expected to bring their licensing documentation on the first day to meet the credentialing requirements.

Job Details:

• Location: Portland, Oregon
• Shift Hours: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT, ARRT registration, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and one year of experience in CT imaging. Candidates must have active licensure in the state of Oregon or be eligible to obtain it.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, prior experience in a community hospital setting, and familiarity with emergency department procedures and multi-planar reconstruction (MPR) imaging techniques.
• Schedule: Day shift with weekend coverage on Saturday and Sunday from 0800 to 2030.
• Additional Information: The role involves working with specialized equipment including maximum intensity projection (MIP), surface shaded displays, and volume rendering. The position requires skills in contrast media administration, radiation safety, and venipuncture. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be prepared to work the specified weekend schedule, including holiday shifts.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between units or nearby facilities, based on operational needs.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must provide two references covering one year within the last three years, including recent work with charge RN or lead roles. All scheduling and holiday requests should be disclosed during submission, and the candidate must respond to specific screening questions about prior employment at similar facilities.
