About the Position

Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN – North Carolina

Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 0730-1800, approximately 15 cases per day

Highlights:

• Comprehensive EP lab experience with diverse case mix including cardiac ablations (VT, PVI, CV, A-Flutter, AV Node), ICD/pacemaker placement and exchanges, laser lead extraction, and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
• Advanced technology environment featuring PFA, Cryo, ESI, IVUS, and Epic Cupid/Cardio Lab documentation system
• Rotating schedule includes designated "1st late" and "2nd late" assignments to ensure cases are completed and patients reach appropriate level of care
• 30-hour orientation program with scrubs provided
• Work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced procedural environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of EP lab nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCI RCES or CCI RCIS preferred
• Must be comfortable providing conscious sedation during procedures
• North Carolina RN license or Compact State license required
• Proficiency in Epic charting system required, along with Pyxis and SBAR communication
• Strong competency in arrhythmia interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with both scrub and circulating roles, including sterile technique, cardiac mapping, electrophysiology evaluation, and conduction studies
• Skills in equipment setup, EKG lead placement, IV starts and maintenance, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome
