TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Carbondale, Illinois, 62901!

Job Title: Med-Surg Adult Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Active nursing license - BLS certification - Minimum 2 years of experience in med-surg nursing Description: Primarily a surgical department with some medical overlap due to bed availability to meet patient needs. Agency shifts are generally scheduled for every other weekend. The management is open to discussing holiday requests. The floor consists of 35 private patient rooms with two nurse stations. There is a shift supervisor on duty. The nurse-to-patient ratio on the night shift is 1:5-6. Patient care technicians are available on the department for each shift.
