Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:30 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience in recovery and care for ventilator patients - Ability to handle ICU level patients for recovery Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The role requires providing care to a diverse patient population, including all ages. Candidates must be able to recover and hold ventilator patients. The expected patient ratio is usually 2:1, except for pediatric or ICU level of care. The facility employs a variety of medical equipment, including ventilators, glucose monitors, and IV pumps. The nurse will assist with patient care across various service lines such as general surgery, robotics, bariatrics, orthopedics, and more. Weekend shifts will be required at least once or twice during the contract period. The position includes on-call requirements every other week. Additional discussions regarding patient types and specific responsibilities will occur during the interview process.
