What our Client Service Representatives do and why it’s important: Cottingham and Butler is growing and we are adding Client Service Representatives to our team! As a Client Service Representative, you will work directly with our clients to help keep their accounts up to date. You will make a direct impact on a daily basis by carrying out the top-tier services that define Cottingham and Butler. Strengths and skills necessary for success in the role: Our outstanding team of Client Service Representatives are one of the main reasons we have a client retention rate well above the industry standard. Because you will be in such a key role, there are several important characteristics we look for: outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to handle and prioritize many different tasks, the ability to work well under pressure, and strong attention to detail. If you come from an insurance background that’s great! However, we understand that most people don’t which is why we are willing to train you on the technical details. It’s more important to us that you embody the right personal characteristics. While we don’t expect you to be perfect in every aspect of the job right away, the aforementioned traits are essential for success in the role.
