Overview RN Manager – Medical Surgical/Telemetry Bridgton Hospital | Bridgton, Maine Full-Time | Nursing Leadership Bridgton Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Manager, Medical Surgical/Telemetry to provide 24-hour leadership and operational oversight of the Med/Surg and Telemetry departments. Reporting directly to the CNO/DON, this leader is responsible for patient care excellence, staff management, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, staffing, and daily department operations. Responsibilities Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units. Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes. Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource utilization. Recruit, coach, develop, and evaluate nursing staff. Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and federal regulations. Monitor department metrics, patient satisfaction, and quality indicators.Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to drive operational excellence. Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and service excellence. Qualifications Education and Work Experience 1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse. 2. BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary. 4. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting. 5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
