About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Lamar Estates, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients as assigned, administering and recording medications and treatments, preparing for and assisting with diagnostic procedures and treatments, and reinforcing supports and providing health care instructions to patients and their families. You will also participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities, and maintain environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned

• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned

• Prepares for and assists with diagnostic procedures and treatments

• Reinforces supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families

• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities

• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients

• Assists with unit management and/or assumes charge of unit as assigned

• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)

• Records on patient charts observation of patient's responses to nursing care rendered

Requirements:

• RN/LPN: 1 year (Preferred)

• RN/LPN (Required)
