If you're looking to grow your career within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company - let's talk!Position OverviewThe DevOps Engineer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of software systems and infrastructure, working within a DevOps Engineering team that supports multiple engineering teams in building, testing, and deploying their solutions to the cloud. This role is fully competent to handle complex programming, project management, and development assignments independently.Key ResponsibilitiesWork directly on complex application and technical problem identification and resolution, including occasional off-shift and weekend supportWork independently on complex systems or infrastructure components used across one or more applications or systemsDrive application development focused on delivering business-valuable featuresEstablish and maintain high standards of software quality within the team through good practices and habitsIdentify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the teamCommunicate with end users and internal customers to guide development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completenessPerform integrated and customer acceptance testing that requires careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality resultsManage AWS IAM, troubleshoot cloud connectivity issues, and work with engineers on CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code initiativesTeam & Work EnvironmentHybrid role based out of the Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX officeParticipate in regular internal team standup meetingsServe as the assigned point of contact and support resource for specific engineering teams
