Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in the Wichita, Kansas area. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment, supporting a variety of procedures such as orthopedics, gynecology, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, spine, neuro, and trauma. The position requires working a day shift schedule, with a focus on patient safety and effective team collaboration.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, minimum of 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience, BLS certification, ACLS certification, and no minimum years of experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with DaVinci Robotics, orthopedic, neurology, and vascular procedures, prior Meditech experience.
• Responsibilities: Support surgical procedures, ensure patient safety, communicate effectively with staff and providers, adhere to unit policies and guidelines.
• Unit Description: The unit has 28 beds, performs a variety of surgeries, and utilizes equipment such as TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci. On-call duties include one weeknight and one weekend per month with a 30-minute response time.
• Schedule: Work hours are from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM or 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Wednesday through Saturday or Thursday through Saturday, according to the facility's operational needs.
