About the Position

Job Title: Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology Technologist Specialty: Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) Must-Have: - OR/C-arm experience - Experience with specified patient types Description: ASAP start needed. Manager interviews available. Level II Trauma Center receives air flights and serves a large portion of the state. Certified Stroke Center with a total of 411 beds. Imaging rooms include 3 X-Ray rooms, 2 for general X-Ray and 1 for Fluoroscopy. Will accept travelers with varied experience depending on qualifications. First-time travelers are also welcome. Patient care areas include outpatient, inpatient, ED, ICU, MedSurg, and operating room. Primarily serves adult and geriatric patients with some pediatric and neonatal cases. Procedures performed include Fluoroscopy, C-Arm in OR, Ortho, and Trauma cases. Average number of patients seen per day varies based on assignment. Support within the department includes a lead tech and department administration team. Radiologists are on-site for consultation. Technology and equipment utilized include EMR, PACS, and various imaging machines. Fixed location for inpatient scans with no call required. Holiday expectations are managed in rotation with other techs. Scheduling involves 4-week plans with flexibility to meet departmental needs. Scrub color requirements are for any solid color as long as they are professional.
