Operations Manager - Home Services

MasterPro is a specialized installation and service company operating licensed trades (plumbing, electrical, gas) across multiple states. We manage territories, dispatch licensed technicians, and coordinate complex service operations. The Role We're hiring an Operations Manager to lead all operational functions across our Seattle metro region. You'll build and manage a licensed technician team, oversee subcontractor networks, handle Washington state compliance, optimize dispatch and routing, drive retail presence, and scale regional performance. You report directly to executive leadership. Your Responsibilities Dispatch & Routing – Manage daily scheduling and routing of licensed technicians; optimize territories for efficiency and completion rates Technician & Subcontractor Management – Recruit, onboard, and evaluate journeymen, apprentices, and licensed contractor partners; manage performance ratings and compliance Washington State Compliance – Ensure adherence to WDLI licensing requirements (electrical contractors, plumbing, gas work); maintain contractor certifications and documentation; handle license renewals and regulatory submissions Territory Operations – Manage in-store presence at retail locations; coordinate vendor events; oversee vehicle allocation and fuel management Performance & KPIs – Track install completion rates, customer satisfaction scores, technician ratings, revenue per territory; report monthly to leadership Team Building – Hire and manage W-2 staff (dispatch, coordinators); foster culture of safety, quality, and accountability What We’re Looking For 5+ years in direct operations management within plumbing, HVAC, electrical contracting, or trades-heavy construction Hands‑on experience managing licensed technicians, apprentices, or contractor networks Familiarity with state licensing boards, contractor compliance, and trades regulations Licensed electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, or equivalent trades background (strongly preferred) Logistics mindset—can optimize complex multi‑stop routing and territory management Proficiency with operations tools and softwares Entrepreneurial, comfortable in scaling environments, motivated by regional growth What We Offer Competitive salary + performance-based bonus tied to territory KPIs Equity partnership opportunity and long-term growth potential Health and dental insurance Autonomy to build and lead your team Real impact—your region’s success directly influences company growth and your upside #J-18808-Ljbffr MasterPro
