Dal-Tile is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our TEAM! This position is ideal for a skilled industrial maintenance professional with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience who can help keep manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently.

The Maintenance Technician III will perform complex electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and industrial control systems, and support the installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

Sign-On Bonus – Up to $10,000

• $2,000 after 90 days
• $3,000 after 12 months
• $5,000 after 18 months

Schedule & Shift Flexibility

Candidates must be flexible and willing to work either a day or night shift , based on business needs and the needs of the maintenance team.

A Shift – Days
Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Wednesday: 6:00 AM–11:30 AM

B Shift – Days
Wednesday: 12:30 PM–6:00 PM
Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

C Shift – Nights
Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Wednesday: 6:00 PM–11:30 PM

D Shift – Nights
Thursday: 12:30 AM–6:00 AM
Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Primary Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs using a handheld device or laptop.
• Access and diagnose PLC programs and software using PLC programming tools.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems used in a manufacturing environment.
• Diagnose electrical problems using blueprints, electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and other specifications.
• Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs, servomotors, drive units, electronic controls, and process-control instrumentation .
• Use electrical meters and testing equipment to identify and diagnose equipment issues.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs as needed to support production.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, production machinery, electronic controls, and related equipment.
• Lead maintenance projects and ensure equipment is returned to production safely and efficiently.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase productivity, reduce downtime, and lower costs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Support production and maintenance teams as needed, including responding to equipment issues during nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industrial electro-mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing PLCs .
• Ability to use electrical meters and testing equipment.
• Experience with VFDs, servomotors, drive units, and industrial control systems .
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Computer proficiency and experience working with PLC programming software.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery, electrical systems, and industrial equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and project-management skills.
• Ability to work a flexible between day and night shifts based on business needs.

Physical & Work Environment

This role requires regularly standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasionally climbing or balancing. The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may work around moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, varying temperatures, and loud noise levels. Fall protection may be required when working at elevated heights.
