MH Inventory Specialist

What is a HUB Inventory Specialist? Hub Inventory Specialist is responsible for hub order fulfillment and inventory control. The individual in this role should have good knowledge of store systems, basic parts knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. The role requires in‑depth knowledge of store inventory and the ability to network with nearby stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers for order fulfillment. This position is full time. Candidates may be MVR certified and must complete all training materials and attend all store meetings. Primary Responsibilities Manage hub operations and resolve hub orders in a timely manner. Review hub orders, pull parts, stage product, and finalize paperwork. Communicate with drivers regarding paperwork, instructions, and other details. Engage with store and facility network to determine part sourcing and logistics solutions; work with ordering store for fulfillment options if unavailable in the network. Collaborate with GM, DL, and SSC support to maintain proper inventory mix and levels. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, outages, planograms, max changes, price changes, front‑and‑face, and truck lead processes. Maintain and comply with all hub records and paper‑work policies and procedures. Secondary Responsibilities Additional inventory activities including overstocks, callbacks, and resets. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed. Assist with front room inventory functions. Assist with cores and defects. Fixed activities: store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot. Success Factors Friendly communication. Ability to locate and stock parts. Safety knowledge and skills. Operating inventory systems and store equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and hand jack. Parts and automotive system knowledge. Operating POS and parts lookup systems. Essential Job Skills Competent oral and written communication and basic math computations. Prior retail experience, including basic merchandising and inventory management skills. Certification to operate forklift (if applicable) and ability to use hand truck and pallet jack. Well‑mannered, neat in appearance, and able to interact with the public in an unbiased manner. Stability and performance demonstrated in previous work records. Scheduled flexibility: able to work short notice, flexible hours, nights, and weekends. Must report violations of company policy or procedure to General Manager and/or District Leader immediately. Prior Experience That Sets a HUB Inventory Specialist Up for Success Inventory management in a retail environment. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None.
