Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Privacy & Cyber practice . This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters involving data privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging regulatory issues. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage complex matters with confidence, and collaborate closely with experienced litigators on high-impact cases across industries.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction , in good standing
• 3-6 years of substantive experience with  complex commercial litigation, arbitration and case management
• Significant experience managing day-to-day litigation activities, including fact investigations and case strategy development

• Proven ability to draft pleadings such as answers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment
• Experience conducting and defending depositions and negotiating with opposing counsel
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills
• Comfort managing client relationships and handling matters with a high degree of autonomy
• Ability to independently manage smaller projects while contributing meaningfully to larger, complex matters
• Experience litigating matters involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or other privacy-related statutes is a plus
• Federal clerkship experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, from initial investigation through resolution
• Lead factual investigations and develop litigation strategies in privacy and cyber-related matters
• Draft and argue pleadings, dispositive motions, and related submissions
• Conduct and defend depositions and manage discovery processes
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and participate in settlement discussions
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure efficient and strategic case management
• Assist with workflow management on larger matters while maintaining ownership of assigned cases

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary:  $260,000 – $350,000 , commensurate with experience
