If your passion is delivering quality and value, this may be the job for you.Job Responsibilities:Assigns duties to staff and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating proceduresProvides training, including safety training, to staffSelects or assists in the selection of hotel staff and completes all new hire paperworkReviews employee performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions and terminationsMaintains accurate records including cash flow sheet, direct bill accounts, credit card receipts, registration cards, reservation cards, direct bills, credit cards, and tax exempt.Conducts or assists in conducting staff meetingsAdheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating proceduresReceives and resolves or assists in resolving guest complaints and employee issuesPerforms functions of the General Manager in their absenceAvailable 24/7 with reliable transportationCovers shifts in all departments as scheduled by the General ManagerCorresponds with group and travel agents to answer special requests for rooms and ratesAssists with sales and marketing efforts as directedAnswers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and servicesAssists General Manager in annual wage scale surveys; ensures employee wages follow wage and salary guidelinesAll other duties as assignedProfessional Experience:Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or similar degree or an equivalent combination of education and experienceHotel operations experience to include knowledge of all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and requirements of federal, state, and municipal authorityPresentation/Facilitation Skills (preferred)Excellent customer service skillsIndustry Experience:Previous experience in the hospitality industry (preferred)Hotel Management Operations experience (preferred)Knowledge of government relations regarding hotel operations (preferred)Required Skills:Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be flexible to work varied schedulesAbility to delegate and direct the activities of the team to ensure efficient operationExcellent written and oral communication skillsMust have the physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long time periodsMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs.Essential Skills:Ability to express compassion while remaining composed; ability to remain calm and focused while working under pressurePromote the property by demonstrating a "top-notch" attitude toward our guests which includes anticipating the guests needs – be proactiveEnsure that you are always a positive representation of the property; embrace and respect diversity and multi-cultural environmentsBenefits:RAM Hotels hires the best people, we work extremely hard to provide benefits that make work-life balance that much more enjoyable.
