The organization brings together software engineers, architects, and technical leaders, along with quality engineering, platform support, and business management teams.Digital Core platforms include enterprise API platforms, event-driven data streaming, customer data platforms, identity and access management, document management, workflow orchestration, and enterprise alerting solutions.These platforms are built on a modern technology stack including cloud-native services (AWS), API management (IBM API Connect), event streaming (Kafka), and distributed data platforms (Java, SQL, NoSQL).The Senior Technical Lead, Digital Core B2B Delivery plays a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of platform changes supporting B2B partner integrations. This role is accountable for leading end-to-end technical delivery across multiple Digital Core platforms, ensuring solutions are delivered with quality, reliability, and alignment to enterprise standards.This is a hands-on technical leadership role with no direct people management responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end technical delivery of Digital Core platform changes supporting B2B partner initiativesDevelop and manage integrated delivery plans across multiple platform teamsCoordinate execution across development, testing, release management, and production deploymentPartner closely with developers and technical leads to guide implementation and ensure delivery qualityReview and assess technical designs and implementation approaches across platformsProactively identify risks, gaps, and delivery challenges, and work with teams to address themLead technical triage and support resolution of cross-platform issuesEnsure delivery readiness through all phases of the software development lifecycle, including system integration testing and production deploymentProvide clear and concise updates on delivery progress, risks, and key issues to stakeholders and senior leadershipContribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices, helping to strengthen technical execution, integration approaches, and overall platform delivery effectivenessHow the Role OperatesWorks closely with multiple Digital Core platform teams within a centralized delivery modelProvides technical leadership and coordination across developers and technical leads for assigned initiativesActs as a central point of accountability for delivery outcomes while partnering with platform leads, project managers, and release teamsReports to the Director, Digital Core B2B Delivery, with regular visibility to senior leadership, ensuring alignment on delivery progress, risks, and prioritiesBalances technical leadership with delivery coordination to ensure successful, end-to-end executionWhat You BringRequiredDemonstrated experience leading large-scale enterprise software delivery initiatives with strong technical depthStrong software development background, with hands-on experience writing and reviewing codeProven ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple teams and platformsStrong technical foundation in API platforms, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms, or enterprise integrationAbility to evaluate and guide technical solutions, ensuring alignment to standards and delivery objectivesExperience identifying and managing delivery risks across complex, multi-system initiativesStrong understanding of software development lifecycle, system integration testing, and production deployment practicesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferredExperience working with enterprise platforms such as API management, Kafka/event streaming, IAM, or cloud-native servicesExperience in large-scale enterprise or financial services environmentsSalary:$94,600.00 - $176,000.00Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
