Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack and load products for shipment while performing the tasks safely and efficiently.
• Accurately document shipment freight characteristics and complete forms.
• Adhere to process while performing tasks.
• Unload and load trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform material handling tasks using powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Reposition trailers using material handling equipment.
• Process packages through parcel shipping carriers' systems such as FEDEX and UPS.
• Perform audits and verifying shipping accuracy to maintain highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Consolidate inventory as needed.
• Accurately utilize Kanban systems.
• Utilize electronic shipping equipment such as scan guns, and strapping machines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference for candidates with prior forklift experience.
• Preference for prior experience using computer as well as scan guns.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime hours during the week as well as on weekends as business needs dictate.
• Must be willing and able to comply with all plant safety policies.
• Must have the ability to speak, read and write the English language.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment as required.
• Must be willing and able to operate and maintain material handling equipment certification after having been trained.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently, Lift up to 75 pounds periodically with assistance.
• Must be able to site/walk/stand for up to 10 hour a day and be involved with shipping activities on the warehouse floor throughout the required shift.
• Must be able to bend, push, pull and kneel.
• Must be able to work in weather extremes.
• Must be able to wear required PPE.
• Must be self-directed to work independently as well as possess the ability to work in a team environment.
• Must possess attention to detail as it pertains to accuracy as well as solid decision-making skills.

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
