Job Title: Director of Women's Care

Hours per Shift: 8 hours, Monday through Friday with irregular hours possible
Experience: Minimum 5 years RN experience, with 2 years of management/leadership experience
License: RN license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC preferred


Must-Have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing
- Experience in nursing/patient care operations
- Ability to ensure compliance with patient care quality standards
- Proficient in performance improvement activities


Description:
The Director of Women's Care is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of nursing and patient care areas.
This role ensures compliance with quality standards related to the care provided to patients of all age groups, including infants and geriatrics.
The incumbent will maintain performance improvement activities within the department and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
Competency of nursing personnel must be assured through this role.
The Director will assist in formulating the budget and maintaining efficient and effective departmental operations.
Ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, laws, standards, and protocols is crucial for this position.
