Advanced Staining Assay Validation Specialist
$25 - $39.38 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks an Advanced Staining Assay Validation Specialist in Torrance, California to conduct validation and verification of immunohistochemistry and in-situ hybridization assays while maintaining compliance with GxP, CAP, and CLIA standards. Prior histotechnologist experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute IHC, ISH, and FISH assay validation and verification experiments
- Perform tissue sample preparation including processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining
- Develop and contribute to validation plans, reports, SOPs, and documentation
- Analyze data, maintain records, and communicate status updates to scientific leadership
- Train clinical staff on new methods and troubleshoot lab instruments
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum
- One year laboratory assay validation or histology lab experience
- One year histology exposure
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills
Compensation: $25-$39.38 hourly
