Job Title: PeopleSoft Administrator Location: Albany, NY 12240 (Hybrid – Up to 50% Telecommuting) Position Type: Contract Duration: 24+ Months End Client: State of New York Scope of Project Provide Infrastructure/PeopleSoft Administration support for current PeopleSoft SLMS and suggested enhancements as part of the project. This role will support PeopleSoft infrastructure architecture, administration, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing operational support of the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS) environment. Responsibilities Research, document, and guide the PeopleSoft infrastructure design/layout based on PeopleSoft best practices for implementation and upgrades. Support installation, configuration, and application triage of various PeopleSoft software components including WebLogic, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, and Oracle Database. Perform administration and support for newly required PeopleSoft environments using the latest technology stack. Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to meet business requirements. Collaborate with agencies and technical support teams to develop technically sound solutions. Produce enterprise-level solution architectures aligned with business objectives and strategic direction. Research, resolve, and test system configurations. Provide analysis, research, and support for existing legacy PeopleSoft applications. Support proposed PeopleSoft enhancement initiatives and modernization efforts. Develop procedural documentation and perform knowledge transfer activities including job shadowing and written documentation. Required Skills 84 months of system administration experience in Oracle PeopleSoft HR & HCM 9.x or higher. Experience with installation, configuration, tuning, upgrades, patching, and code migrations in Unix/Solaris/Linux environments. 84 months of experience with PeopleTools 8.49 or higher including installation, upgrading, patching, tuning, and configuration. 84 months of experience performing PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades using PUM and Change Assistant. 60 months of experience with WebLogic and Tuxedo including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrades, and High Availability (HA). 60 months of experience with Oracle Database 10g or higher for creating and maintaining PeopleSoft databases. Strong expertise with Oracle, PeopleSoft, Linux, Unix, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, and enterprise architecture. Ability to provide guidance to large technical teams and function as a senior technical architect. Preferred Skills Experience with enterprise application modernization projects. Strong documentation and knowledge transfer skills. Experience working in highly secure environments requiring fingerprint-based background checks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
