The College, established in 1870, has a student body of 2,400 undergraduates. The Wellesley College endowment had a market value of $3.2 billion as of the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025. The investment of the endowment is managed by the College’s Investment Office, located on the College campus in Wellesley, MA.**Position Summary**The Investment Analyst role is a 3-year, full-time position open to graduating seniors and recent graduates (0-1 years of work experience), with an expected start date of fall 2027. Team members must live in the Boston metro area but, post an initial training period, have the option to work remotely 2 days a week. The Investment Analyst position provides a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to and experience in institutional investing.The Investment Analyst is an integral member of the investment team responsible for managing the Wellesley College endowment. The Investment Analyst works across all asset classes in a variety of capacities as described below. The Investment Analyst supports manager due diligence and monitoring, including extensive quantitative analysis and qualitative investment research. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* *Analysis* *on* *current and prospective managers* + Review performance of managers versus benchmarks and internal records. + Conduct performance attribution and exposure analysis across geography, leverage, transparency, strategy, holdings, and other relevant dimensions. + Coordinate and prepare background information for team member visits with managers. + Represent the College at partnership meetings and prepare summary notes. + Review legal documents and legal amendments.* *Portfolio Analysis* + Perform research and prepare portfolio reports using internal analytical databases and AI tools. + Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of data integrity in the Office’s models and analytical tools for portfolio management. + Support investment team with asset class reviews and asset class analysis. + Contribute to ad hoc research projects on different countries, industries, markets and investment strategies.**Qualifications**The Investment Analyst should exhibit the desire to learn and grow as an investment professional and keep up to date on the latest market news, industry practices and technology applications.Core requirements include:* An interest in investing and capital markets* Relevant coursework, internship, and/or work experience* Accountable, hardworking, and detail-oriented* An ability to work effectively in a small, collegial, high-performing team* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Strong organizational skills* Initiative and willingness to learn* Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint* Experience utilizing AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) for research and analysis* Adherence to a strict code of ethics* Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed* Employment eligibility in the United States of America.
