About the Role:

As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in our food service team, preparing high-quality dishes that meet the dietary needs of our residents. Your passion for cooking, teamwork, and commitment to delivering exceptional service will make a significant impact on our community.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards

• Assist in menu planning by preparing components for daily service, special events, and themed parties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols

• Support the kitchen team by executing cooking tasks efficiently and managing multiple priorities during busy periods

• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation of all items prepared

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, timely delivery of meals, and inventory management

• Follow all dietary and health regulations related to food handling, storage, and sanitation

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurants, healthcare settings, catering, or dietary departments

• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures

• Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience

• Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward collaborative kitchen environments
