Position Title: Temporary Custodian

Salary: $20.78 per hour
Benefits: Not eligible

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Buildings and Grounds, the Temporary Custodian performs general cleaning, maintenance, and custodial duties to ensure district facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This temporary position provides support for district operations and will remain in effect only as long as the temporary staffing need exists.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Prior custodial or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis to ensure summer projects remain on schedule.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when assigned specific zones.
• Ability to follow multi-step oral and written directions.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
