Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns and identify their strengths and challenges.
- Provide tailored individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans that encompass goals, targeted interventions, and progress monitoring to facilitate client success.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
- Offer crisis intervention services, conduct risk assessments, and develop detailed safety plans for clients in immediate need.
- Advocate for clients’ rights, connect them with valuable community resources, and provide effective case management support.
- Participate in community engagement activities to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma, enhancing the visibility of mental health resources available to the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals, families, and groups from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Each session will provide you with the chance to leverage your cultural competence and empathy to guide clients through their unique experiences with mental health challenges. The strong emphasis on person-centered care ensures that each client feels validated and understood within their treatment journey.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Strong understanding of mental health principles and evidence-based practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective client interaction.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations, fostering an inclusive environment.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
