GroundsKeeper - Facilities Management - Full Time - Day Shift Job Summary Under the supervision of the Engineering Supervisor, the groundskeeper assumes responsibility and accountability for performing all out door clean-up and service functions at both hospital and hospital owned properties. Work performed in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Flexible working hours and winter on-call are required. Core Job Responsibilities Ability to keep lawns and landscape in good condition by routine cutting of grass Nurture all flowers and shrubs with associated projects Complete annual mulching and weeding Complete assigned rounds when required Perform snow removal when required Perform salting / sanding as required with special attention given to building entrances. Provide service for moving equipment and / or materials throughout network Monitor fuel storage of gas & diesel used by network vehicles Keep equipment and vehicles clean and presentable Perform semi-skilled Carpentry & Painting work Perform parking lot striping and curb painting when required Perform other duties as required. Education/Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Licensure/Certification Requirements Valid New York State driver's license.
