Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of New Mexico
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple age groups and school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
• Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each student’s IEP goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance with state and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations
• Communicate progress and strategies clearly to educators, administrators, and families
• Offer support to classroom teachers with accommodations and classroom strategies
• Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote inclusive learning and communication
