Registered Nurse / Emergency Department We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population. Patient Ratios 1:6, can be up to 8 depending on staffing, acuity, and triage. Experience Requirements Minimum of 1.5 years of experience required. First-timers are accepted. Weekend and Holiday Requirements May be required to work every weekend or holiday based on department needs. Time Off Policy Any time off must be submitted with the application and approved before the offer. Schedule requests cannot be accommodated after the start date. Scheduling Block scheduling is not allowed. Certifications Required ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS are required. Iron Temple Training Center certification is required within 14 days after the start date. Local Candidates Local candidates are accepted. Patient Population Will work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Additional Unit Information 45 beds on the unit; 160 visits per day. ER Techs and transport sitters available on the unit. Uniform Scrub color: Black. Charting System EPIC experience is required.
