Job Brief: IT Personnel Level III supports the company’s computer systems, software, network infrastructure, electronic data, and technology-related operations. This position provides technical support to company employees and locations; installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots computers, software, network equipment, and other technology systems. They also assist with the implementation and maintenance of company technology. IT Personnel work closely with all departments and company locations to support reliable and effective use of technology throughout the organization.

IT Personnel Level III

• Provide advanced technical support and independently troubleshoot complex hardware, software, operating system, network, and connectivity issues.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot company network infrastructure, including switches, wireless systems, VPNs, firewalls, and related equipment.
• Assist with the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of servers, storage systems, backups, file and print services, and other network resources.
• Monitor system and network performance and identify potential reliability, security, or performance issues.
• Assist with maintaining company IT security, user access controls, system updates, backups, and electronic data protection.
• Set up, configure, troubleshoot, and support technology systems at remote company locations.
• Lead or participate in IT hardware, software, network, infrastructure, and system implementation projects as assigned.
• Investigate recurring or complex technical problems and develop long-term solutions to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to Level I and Level II IT Personnel as assigned.
• Assist supervisors and management with IT projects, technology evaluations, system improvements, vendor coordination, and other technology-related activities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation of systems, network configurations, equipment, procedures, and technology standards.
• Help accomplish the company’s IT, technology, system reliability, security, and operational objectives by performing related duties as required.
• Configure, deploy, and manage ITSM tool’s Incident Management, Service Request, and Asset Management modules including Service Catalog and remote workstation control.
• Manage hardware lifespan from procurement to proactive replacement cycles.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems logically and systematically.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while recognizing when issues require additional technical or management involvement.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of company information and electronic data.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and manage changing priorities.
• Ability to work effectively with outside vendors, service providers, and contractors as required.
• Ability to travel to company locations as required by business needs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including varying shifts, weekends, and overtime when required by business needs.
• Must follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable workplace requirements.
• Must maintain a professional and appropriate appearance consistent with company standards.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull IT equipment and materials within the requirements of the position.
