Social Worker (LCSW/LMFT) – Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Monterey, CA Outpatient Behavioral Health Setting ⏱ 13-Week Contract Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Guaranteed 40 Hours Per Week We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join an outpatient Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health team in Monterey, California. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. Responsibilities: Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to children and adolescents Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Support patients and families through treatment planning and community resource referrals Requirements: Active California LCSW or LMFT License Current AHA BLS Certification Minimum 2 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families Strong clinical assessment, communication, and counseling skills Experience in outpatient behavioral health settings preferred Assignment Details: Outpatient Behavioral Health Full-Time, 40 Hours Guaranteed Monday–Friday Schedule Occasional weekend coverage may be required based on patient or family needs Important Facility Requirement: This is a nicotine-free facility. All pre-employment drug screens must include negative nicotine/cotinine results. Positive results will only be considered for review if supported by a valid prescription for nicotine replacement therapy.
