Research history of current rulemaking cases and origin of procurement regulations. Research the impact of current and prospective information collection requirements on the public in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act. Track requirements and manage data in government information systems.Prepare and proofread formal staffed packages.Attend and participate in meetings, take meeting notes, record taskers and actions, and update the staff when necessary.Prepare briefings as appropriate.Manage multiple assignments from multiple people in busy work environment.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen.Bachelor’s degree or aboveAt least 10 years of work experience, preferably with or supporting DoD or other federal agencyStrong researcher with knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (title 48 Code of Federal Regulations, chapters 1 and 2)Experience as a contracting officer or contracts specialist highly desiredExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointExpereince using SharePoint is preferredSelf-directed, detail-oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting prioritiesTarget salary range: $90,620 - $135,754Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
