Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do:The selected candidate will join our team of qualified individuals. This role will be a member of a team of system engineers who will continue to mature the interfaces products for the weapon system from Preliminary Design Review phase to a Critical Design Review and beyond. The role includes working in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and/or supporting the development of at least the following key interface artifacts:Interface Control Documents (ICDs)Interface Requirements & Verification PlansInterface Logical and Physical ArchitectureInterface Nx CAD ModelsInterface Mentor Capital Wiring DiagramsThe successful candidate will demonstrate technical skills, organization, be an effective communicator, and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They will have an ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the program as required to accomplish assigned and team taskings.Basic Qualifications:Systems Engineer (Level 2):Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with master’s degree.Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher at the time of application. Must have the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need1 year of experience working with Cameo or similar tools1 year of experience working with DOORS or similar toolsPrincipal Systems Engineer (Level 3):Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience, 3 years of related experience with master’s degree, or 1 year of related experience with PhD.Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher at the time of application. Must have the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.   #SentinelSystemsPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
