Structural Steel Fabricator - Shop Newberg, OR Pay: $25-$32/hour + Overtime Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Thurs (6:00am-4:30pm) Who We Are A family-owned structural steel shop with a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and teamwork. Operating out of a modern facility built in 2019, they offer a clean, spacious work environment where employees are valued and supported. Their team takes pride in delivering high-quality steel fabrication that supports both shop and field operations. What You'll Do As a Structural Steel Fabricator, you'll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality structural components. This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys working with their hands, and thrives in a team-oriented shop. Perform structural welding (FCAW - dual shield & inner shield) on steel framing, joints, and connections Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding procedures Complete layout, fit-up, measuring, cutting, and assembly to tight tolerances Operate shop equipment including saws, welders, grinders, and drills Utilize equipment such as forklifts, cranes, lifts, and telehandlers (with training) Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines What You Bring Experience with structural steel fabrication and welding (D1.1 FCAW preferred) Ability to weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead - 4G) Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Familiarity with fabrication tools and shop equipment Ability to work independently and on a team Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods Commitment to safety and proper PPE use Flexibility to work overtime as needed What You Get 100% employer-paid Health & Dental Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) SIMPLE IRA with company match Paid holidays Paid sick time Paid vacation Consistent 4-day workweek with optional overtime What's Next Call Kacie at View phone number on click.appcast.io or Ricky at View phone number on click.appcast.io to schedule an interview!
