Insurance Agent Position

Jim Tom, State Farm Insurance Agent in Chicago 60618 (North Center), seeks an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their insurance team for an in-office position. As an insurance licensed insurance professional with our State Farm Insurance Agency, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, business, life and health insurance, along with financial services products.

Responsibilities:

• Establish insurance customer relationships, and provide prompt, accurate, and friendly insurance customer service. Insurance service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, insurance coverages and upgrade policies, insurance policy changes, insurance claim submissions, insurance billing clarification, etc.
• Review policy gaps during all interactions, then present State Farm and alliances' portfolio of products to address any needs discovered.
• Willingness to engage in consistent confident, engaging needs-based sales conversations with relevant questions, that lead to appropriate insurance solutions, then present State Farm and alliances' portfolio of products to address any needs discovered.
• Strong follow up on quotes and customer inquiries within same day bus day to close, or possess strong follow up
• Represent the agency at the occasional community events and support local brand growth
• Ability to build a center of influence, network of contacts, to create referrals for prospective customers
• Utilize telemarketing techniques to generate leads and schedule appointments
• Maintain consistent accurate records within our database of every customer interaction.

Requirements:

• Illinois Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Producers Licenses (must possess or acquire asap)
• Strong proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Possess a can-do positive attitude, who's receptive to coaching feedback
• Strong work ethics, productive, with proven record of success, who's results driven.
• Easily able to build rapport and is persuasive
• Fast learner
• Ability complete tasks accurately, with attention to detail
• Doesn't allow rejection to affect performance
• Proficiency in sales, customer service, retention and innovative in developing a network of prospective clients
