Job Summary Better Baseball is seeking an experienced NetSuite Administrator to lead high‑impact, high‑velocity NetSuite work across our growing baseball and softball specialty business. This role blends hands‑on NetSuite configuration expertise with broad ERP ownership, driving the platform through rapid design, build, post‑go‑live stabilization, and a continuous enhancement roadmap as we scale our catalog, order volume, and operations. The ideal candidate brings strong NetSuite functional depth, the ability to translate business needs across purchasing, inventory, catalog, fulfillment, and finance into scalable configuration, and the presence to work directly with leadership, operations, purchasing, logistics, and e‑commerce teams. This is not a pure developer role, but requires a strong working understanding of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteQL, and NetSuite platform architecture to guide scalable solution design and partner effectively with our automation and integration efforts. Proficiency with saved searches, including joins and formula/summary fields. Working knowledge of SuiteFlow (workflow builder) Experience managing roles, permissions, and access controls. Strong understanding of core NetSuite modules (GL, AP/AR, Inventory, Order Management) Advanced Microsoft Excel High level of organization and extreme attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent problem‑solving abilities Comfort wearing multiple hats in a fast‑paced environment. Technical Proficiency Bonus Qualifications NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation certification SuiteScript (1.0/2.x) experience Experience with integration tools (Celigo, Boomi, Workato) SQL and reporting/dashboard development Industry experience in retail, distribution, or e‑commerce NetSuite Implementation Experience Prior baseball knowledge Key Responsibilities Core Delivery (NetSuite Functional + Operations) Lead NetSuite workstreams across catalog, purchasing, inventory, and fulfillment from initial design through stabilization and ongoing optimization. Facilitate requirements gathering, business process mapping, and design sessions aligned to retail and e‑commerce growth. Own hands‑on configuration: workflows, saved searches, dashboards, approvals, custom forms, custom fields, and roles/permissions. Guide and review technical solutions ensuring scalable, maintainable design. Support data migration and validation: item imports, matrix parent/child setup, UPC/SKU cross‑matching, field mapping, cutover planning, and testing coordination. Operations‑Focused Advisory Continuously assess the NetSuite environment to identify process gaps, risk areas, and quick‑win opportunities. Develop enhancement roadmaps, reporting strategies, and operational improvement plans that keep pace with catalog and channel growth. Surface cost‑to‑scale considerations system load, data integrity, and automation coverage as order volume and product lines expand. Drive structured execution using clear requirements docs, functional design notes, test scripts, and project trackers. Support change management, end‑user adoption, training materials, and post‑go‑live support plans. Shape repeatable Better Baseball playbooks for configuration, testing, item imports, PO workflows, and optimization.
