As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our providers, radiologic technologists, and patients. This is a fast-paced, patient-facing position where you'll help ensure an efficient and positive care experiencefrom check-in through discharge.

We're looking for someone who is organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do:

• Register patients and verify insurance and eligibility
• Room patients and prepare them for examination
• Record medical history and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
• Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG)
• Assist providers during patient visits and communicate patient needs
• Process co-pays and schedule follow-up appointments
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms and front desk areas
• Manage medical records, documentation, and patient communications
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
• Support daily clinic operations including opening/closing duties

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification is REQUIRED at time of hire Accepted certifications include: CCMA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (NHA), CMA Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA or CHP), RMA Registered Medical Assistant (AMT, AAH, or ARMA), NCMA National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT), NRCMA Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NAHP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) required at hire
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience within the last 3 years
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
