Training Specialist - Manufacturing

Overview Training Specialist based in Pomona, CA. This individual will be responsible for working on specific training initiatives for employees and support functions by analyzing training needs, designing and developing content, and leading in-person training classes. The successful candidate will be proactive, analytical/problem-solving, and able to lead in a fast-paced environment. What your day-to-day will look like Manage training schedules, training documentation, and coordinate training facility activities. Partner with different department managers and deploy training initiatives. Analyze and assess training and development needs. Implement training plans and curriculum that align with department and individual business objectives. Design, develop, evaluate, and update training content, materials, manuals, tests, and related training aids to ensure optimum effectiveness. Improve training approaches and resources according to assessment and identified training needs, covering individual mentoring, group sessions, demonstrations, meetings, eLearning, workshops, refreshers, in-person, virtual, and/or self-study. Lead administrative functions necessary to deliver, document, and track training programs, including scheduling, employee notification, and arranging facility setup. Prepare and report on training delivery and curriculum effectiveness. You will make an impact by Deploying training initiatives partnering with the management team of different areas. Participate in training strategy throughout the organization to develop curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation. Analyze and assess training and development needs. Prepare and report on training delivery and curriculum efficiency. Develops train-the-trainer programs where applicable. Qualifications Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years of experience in training and development or human resources in manufacturing environment or administrative educational setting. Proven understanding of and experience with learning management systems Experience crafting e-learning content Ability to build collaborative relationships with all levels in the organization Strong administrative, organizational, and project management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills required Proficient digital literacy including Outlook and MS Office (e.g. O365, SharePoint, Forms, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Training experience in a manufacturing environment Lean manufacturing experience Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of work accurately #J-18808-Ljbffr Siemens
