Position: General Labor
Pay Rate: $19.00–$20.00/hour
Location: Lodi, CA

Schedule:  Monday–Friday 1st Shift: 5:30 AM–2:00 PM 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM–10:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious  General Laborers to support rubber molding and production operations. This position involves preparing molding plates, handling rubber products, operating hand tools, inspecting finished materials, and assisting with basic troubleshooting of production equipment.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a  hot and humid manufacturing environment and performing physically demanding, hands-on work throughout the shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely prepare and position rubber molding plates for placement into metal production machinery.
• Monitor rubber molding equipment and production processes for proper operation.
• Transfer completed rubber molds from machinery using chains and approved material-handling procedures.
• Move completed products to the finishing area for inspection and processing.
• Inspect finished materials for visible defects and production issues.
• Use hand tools to  trim, shape, drill, and finish rubber products as required.
• Read and accurately use a  tape measure to verify product dimensions.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations related to measurements and production requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic production or processing issues.
• Notify management when machinery or products are not processing according to specifications.
• Provide timely updates to management regarding equipment, quality, or production concerns.
• Work independently while maintaining established safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform additional production and general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous  manufacturing, production, general labor, or machine-related experience preferred .
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to safety and product quality.
• Ability to identify problems and communicate concerns clearly to management.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
