Exciting Opportunity for an Oncology Nurse!

Job Description:


- Job ID: 3457741
- Position: MS Oncology RN
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
- Floating: Yes, between units based on skill sets
- On-call Required: No
- Weekends Required: Yes, every other weekend

- Special Requirements: ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required
- Preferred Experience:
- Autologous Stem Cell Transplant
- CAR-T therapy patients
- Travel Requirements: Must have a vehicle for assignment
- Facilities Include: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- Floating Incentive: + $5/hr for hours worked at Seaside
- Housing Offer: Hotel for consecutive shifts if floating to Seaside
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Total Staffed Beds: 418
- Scrub Color: Any color; OR/L&D provided

- Certifications:
- BLS
- ONS/ONCC Chemo Certification
- Skills:
- Administration of Chemotherapy
- Monitoring Chemotherapy
- Management of Ports/Central Lines
- Care for Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome, Anaphylaxis, Extravasation Injury, and Sepsis
- Knowledge of Neutropenic Precautions and Patient Management

Traveler Expectations:


- Float: May float between sister facilities nearby
- Refusal to Float: May result in assignment termination
- Communication Devices: Client to supply for work duties

Submission Requirements:


- Must respond if previously worked at a Providence facility
- References Required: 2 covering the last 3 years
