AI Engineer

Overview We are looking for an AI Engineer with strong Java development skills to design, build, and support AI-driven solutions and enterprise use cases. This role focuses on integrating AI/ML capabilities into scalable backend systems and supporting production-ready AI applications. Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 12 months Key Responsibilities Develop and implement AI/ML-based solutions and enterprise AI use cases Build and maintain Java-based backend services supporting AI applications Integrate machine learning models and AI services into APIs and microservices Support deployment, monitoring, and optimization of AI systems in production Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Contribute to generative AI and LLM-based application development initiatives Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of AI-enabled systems Required Skills Strong AI/ML engineering experience with production application development Advanced Java development experience in enterprise environments Experience integrating AI/ML models into backend systems and APIs Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, and NLP concepts Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and cloud environments Understanding of MLOps and model deployment workflows Experience 5+ years in software engineering 2+ years in AI/ML or AI application development roles Proven experience building and supporting AI solutions in production Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
