Quantitative Strategist

As part of the Transformation Team, you'll work directly with a range of functions and their leads to design and execute tools and processes for business optimization. You'll build analytics and conduct research to help make business decisions. Specifically, you will work as internal consultants, product managers and strategists to help make intra team improvements and firm wide improvements.

Qualifications

We're looking for highly analytical people who want to help build the research-driven trading firm of the future. The individual wants to help internally optimize the existing business (research, technology, and operations) functions by improving communication, code and any other necessary elements.

And to do that, you'll need the following qualities:

• Technically capable in algorithmic design in C++ and proficiency in writing C++ code.
• Proficient in Python coding, especially in scripting and automation.
• Detail oriented and can easily identify key influencing factors; able to quickly retain historical highlights to focus on future improvements.
• Analytical ---- ability to understand the full scope and depth of the issue, able to solve for the long-term.
• Results driven ---- able to drive tasks to completion in a timely manner.
• Proficient at data mining, extraction and organization of raw format data from various sources such as GreenHouse, payroll system, gitlab, and more. Experience, or a desire to learn, Tableau & other user interface tools that require data-input and entries is helpful as well.
• Ability to multitask --- iterate quickly towards a better solution while not dropping the ball on other concurrent functions.
• Strong self-awareness and high emotional intelligence to assist with interpersonal and communication improvements.
