Responsibilities
Repair laptops and desktops in the metro area.
Perform repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
Conduct whole unit swaps, and repair or replace PC peripherals.
Close service tickets in real-time using the company-provided phone.
Requirements
A Certification is required.
Must have a reliable car and car insurance.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.
Client and/or governmental clearance may be required.
Police or criminal background verification clearance may be required.
Must be able to complete required product training.
Preferred Skills
Computer-building background experience preferred.
General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software, including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Benefits
Overtime compensation provided as required by local, state, and federal law.
All mileage during the day to work locations is reimbursed per the standard mileage.
Dell certifications are required and provided at no cost to the candidate.
