What You Will Enjoy Doing

In this role you will create and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and bills of materials using AutoCAD. You will design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and control system applications, including legacy code updates. Further, you will collaborate with digitalization and engineering teams to ensure controls, data collection needs, and project requirements are met. You will support system assembly by guiding technicians, verifying build quality, addressing inquiries, and commissioning equipment. You will research and specify components, develop user manuals, and produce technical documentation such as software management plans. Also, you will assist with budgeting, requirement reviews, and providing technical support throughout installation, startup, and operational phases.

What Makes You Great

You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and one to three years of engineering experience. Moreover, you are proficient in a CAD software package. You work comfortably with Microsoft Office tools. You have a strong understanding of PLC and HMI programming, with experience in Allen Bradley systems and knowledge of Visual Basic, Visual Basic dot net, and Python considered a plus. And finally you possess a fundamental understanding of robotics, with experience in ABB robotic systems viewed as an advantage.
