Gynecologic OncologistThe Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Gynecologic Oncologist to join our growing hospital-based practice as an attending physician.The division of GYN Oncology at BIDMC consists of five attending physicians, two midlevel providers, and a team of dedicated nurses and support staff who are committed to inclusivity and quality in the care of a diverse patient population as part of a multidisciplinary team of medical and surgical oncologists, radiologists, and radiation oncologists. The candidate will provide personalized care, innovative therapeutics, and surgical procedures to optimize patient outcomes. Ambulatory care and surgeries will take place both at the main campus in Boston, which will serve as the primary work location, as well as approximately one day a week at affiliate clinical sites and hospitals in the greater Boston area.Applicants should have completed a fellowship in GYN Oncology and currently hold or be able to obtain all necessary licensure and certifications prior to start date.Candidates will be considered for appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Job requirements include:MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard-certified or eligible in Gynecologic OncologyA valid MA medical license or the ability to obtain oneExcellent clinical care, education and scholarshipAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentAs a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, BIDMC and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology provide a clinically advanced and supportive academic environment for residents, fellows, and faculty.
